Lakeview Precision is a woman-owned and operated precision machining operation that is invested in its people and changing their industry for the better. Fortress stepped in as a strategic partner and helped them hone in their brand identity, create a new website experience, and construct a high-quality video to compliment it. The goal? Establishing Lakeview as the innovator they are.
Overhaul Lakeview Precision’s digital profile & uncover their core philosophy to market their world-class customer service effecitvely.
Fortress – just like Lakeview in their daily operations – went “beyond the blueprint” to discover and communicate Lakeview’s differentiators in a diverse way, starting with the new brand, moving to the website, and culminating with video production.
The branding process began with a Brandstorm: a process designed to define Lakeview’s “Hero”, what their challenges and aspirations are, and how the company can present a guiding light for them. Uncovering these results led us to the next portion of the branding stage, logo design. We presented several creative concepts to Lakeview before agreeing on the below concept that speaks to the company’s forward thinking mentality.
Lakeview’s new website fittingly functions just like a machine. The transformation was made with user-experience at the heart of every decision – from rich content, sleek and intuitive design, and a strong backend that guarantees speed, reliability, and security.
Lakeview Precision needed a video project documenting its history, status as a certified female-owned company, and relationship with its longest-standing customers. The result was a professional-quality video that Lakeview can use as a testimonial for years to come. And due to its short length, it is digestible for all audiences and communicates the most important information effectively.

Our Brandstorm session confirmed Lakeview’s core identity being that of investment. They’re not just invested in dollars, they are invested in everyone who steps through their doors, their community of Elgin IL, their products, and their processes. They are a trailblazer in their industry for their commitment to people and consistent excellence across.
