Oetee

Spatial Storytelling in Action

Oetee is a group of inspired people who design and build inspired places for their clients. First and foremost, they needed a website that showcased their capabilities in a more comprehensive way. But in order to do that, they needed an overhaul of their communication strategy. Fortress stepped in and took on both. This partnership was a success because Oetee is wired the same way we are; motivated, creative, and detail-oriented.

THE CHALLENGE

Create a brand voice and a website that will result in more business through Oetee’s doors.

THE SOLUTION

Fortress delivered a brand book that houses all of Oetee’s newly-discovered brand tenets, philosophies, and power statements, followed by a dynamic website that engages each user: mobile or desktop, client or prospect.

BRANDSTORM & BRAND BOOK

Fortress visited Oetee’s Chicago headquarters and conducted a Brandstorm: our five-step, proprietary branding exercise we have developed to define our clients’ “Hero”, what their challenges and aspirations are, and how the company can present a guiding light for them. In the case of Oetee, we determined that after clients work with Oetee, they will have discovered how creativity can positively affect their business. They are transformed from hesitant to confident, bringing their own unique ideas to the table and feeling like an extension of the Oetee team. The end result of this exercise is a comprehensive brand playbook that houses all of the knowledge uncovered during the exercise, leading to a more unified internal team.

Web Design

Since Oetee is a team of visual designers, their website must live up to that spirit and be inviting and communal, just like the physical spaces they build. Our web design team went to work on a mobile-first strategy that organizes the most important pieces of information thoughtfully and leaves no questions unanswered.

Web Development

Fortress focused on creating a dynamic and engaging user experience through the strategic use of animations. Dynamic animations play a crucial role in modern web development by enhancing user interaction and making the browsing experience more intuitive and enjoyable. For Oetee, we integrated subtle yet impactful animations that guide visitors through the site, highlighting key services and projects seamlessly. These animations not only capture the essence of Oetee’s creative and innovative spirit but also improve usability by providing visual feedback and smooth transitions. This attention to detail ensures that users remain engaged, can easily navigate through the portfolio, and appreciate the studio’s craftsmanship and design philosophy

before

The old Oetee website struggled with a confusing user interface and failed to adequately showcase their incredible creativity and the personal side of what they do.

after

The revamped Oetee website boasts a modern, visually striking design that reflects the studio's creative spirit. With dynamic animations and intuitive navigation, the new site offers an engaging and seamless user experience. The content is strategically optimized for SEO, enhancing visibility and attracting more organic traffic. The improved layout and high-quality visuals effectively highlight Oetee's portfolio, making it easier for potential clients to explore their services and get inspired.
