New studies show the pleasure or reward center of the brain (called nucleus accumbens) is activated when people use Facebook, which can be one indicator to why users check it so many times in a day.

Because accounts are locked, families can’t delete the Facebook accounts of their loved ones after they’ve passed. However, Facebook now offers a setting to have an account deleted after death or have a “legacy contact” manage the account after death.

Zuckerberg chose blue for Facebook since he can actually see all shades of blue, so he’s able to view the color of his site.

Due to the amount of people who obsess over the site, an American psychologist has introduced the term, Facebook Addiction Disorder, which is a condition where a person spends so much time on Facebook that the balance of the individual’s life is affected.
